Now retired from a career in financial services, John Hudgens lives in Southlake, Texas with his wife and two very special longhaired dachshunds. John grew up in the country outside a small East Texas town where he was introduced to hunting and fishing at an early age. While living and working in a large city most of his life the outdoors have always been his passion. What started close to home in Texas evolved into more adventurous pursuits primarily in Alaska and Canada. More recently John has expanded his outdoor interests to include wildlife photography. Initially focusing on birds and whitetail deer in Texas he now enjoys capturing images of various large mammals and birds across North America as well as internationally.
